Skuleskogen National Park is a wild and majestic section of Ångermanland’s “High Coast”, where the rolling hills of the Norrland forest meet the Bothian Gulf. This roadless wilderness offers the visitor magnificent views over sea and forest, beautiful lakes, verdant spruce-clad valleys, and fascinating geological formations which, more clearly than anywhere else, demonstrate how much of modern Sweden has risen from the ancient sea.
You can walk in the National Park at all levels, from a quiet stroll along the flora and fauna on landscaped walkways and wooden bridges, to clattering over large stones clang and scrambling along moss-covered rocks. Skuleskogen is very large (2360 hectares), and at three locations and you can enter the park. There are marked trails that intersect at certain points in the park. We have tried the walking trails and a number of beautiful hikeroutes are selected for you! Welcome to Sweden’s most beautiful National Park!
